About me
I’m a bookkeeper with a Master’s in Accounting (MSA) and a Bachelor’s in Accounting, both from DePaul University, and I’m a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor. I work with small business owners fully remote — no matter where you’re located — helping you keep your books clean, accurate, and ready for whatever comes next, whether that’s tax season, a loan application, or just knowing where your business actually stands.
Before starting my own bookkeeping practice, I spent years in tax preparation, including time at H&R Block and Intuit. I worked with a lot of self-employed business owners who didn’t realize what came with running a business — the self-employment tax, the importance of tracking expenses, the value of knowing your numbers before tax time, not just during it. That experience shaped how I approach bookkeeping now: not just recording transactions, but making sure you actually understand your financial picture.
I also spent time as an employer auditor and in general bookkeeping before going out on my own — so between tax prep, audit work, and hands-on bookkeeping, I bring a well-rounded perspective to how your books should actually work, not just how to check a box.

How I work
I keep things simple and straightforward. Clear communication, accurate books, and no unnecessary complexity — just a bookkeeper who does the work right and explains it in a way that makes sense. I’m fully remote, so you get an experienced bookkeeper without needing anyone to come to an office or vice versa.
